## The Brief

Original 1840s millstone-grit terrace, blackened by two centuries of mill and domestic-coal soot. The owner wanted the stone back to something like its original colour without abrading the grain.

## The Method

superheated steam at controlled temperature — no abrasive media, no aggressive chemistry. The stone came up clean over four working days.

## The Result

Original mid-brown gritstone revealed. Pointing left intact. Neighbours have booked us for the next two properties on the row.
